Disney fan transforms her kitchen into a Mickey Mouse themed haven using bargains from Primark and eBay
THERE is nothing more satisfying than creating a home full of love - filled with things you love.
And one woman's love for Disney has been transferred into her home when she completely transformed her ordinary kitchen into a Micky Mouse themed haven - and Disney fans are absolutely obsessed.
Kelly Jordan took to Facebook to reveal the finished result of her themed kitchen which took her a "couple of months" to complete.
The self-confessed Disney lover searched high and low to find Micky Mouse themed goodies that she could add to her new space, and with the help of eBay, Primark and the Disney store she was finally able to shared the results.
Posting to the DIY On A Budget Official page, Kelly shared a series of photos that captured every corner and surface of the new space.
And there's very little wonder its been liked by almost 10,000 people, because there was no surface left untouched by a little Disney magic.
The kitchen was made up of white cabinets, with black bench tops and knobs and featured a eye-popping lava red wall.
While the walls were splatted with iconic Disney quotes, and small Mickey themed stickers lined the crisp white skirting and tiles.
Although easy to miss at first glance, Kelly was even equipped with Micky themed cooking utensils including a set of measuring spoons that hung by the cook top and spatula sporting Mickey's face.
But Kelly didn't stop there as she even hung various Micky frames on the empty white walls and displayed her collection of stuffed toys and other merchandise along the top of the cabinets.
Proud of her efforts and eager to share, Kelly said: "This is my kitchen I have transformed for over the past couple of months. Might not be to everyone's taste but I love Disney and I love how it has all come together. "
And she wasn't the only one as the post has racked up almost 3,000 comments from other Disney-obsessed fans gushing over her beautiful themed kitchen.
One person wrote: "I think this is ace!! I love the little stickers over the light switch and in the corner of the skirting board. You've thought of everything and it looks like a professional has come in. This is magazine worthy! Well done!!"
And another said: "Absolutely gorgeous I was looking through the pictures with my grandson and he just adored it xx"
While a third person wrote: "You did an amazing job! It's beautiful. I can't say enough how much I love your kitchen."
Meanwhile, a fourth person claimed: "This is what dreams are made of."
One woman was so impressed by the results, that she even suggested that Kelly do her own kitchen.
She said: "I’m in love I’m crazy on Disney so I’d say I’m very jealous to but in a good way. On the other had you don’t have spare time on your hands do you to come and do mine."
After being inundated by messages and requests, crafty Kelly detailed where she'd picked up all the bits and pieces.
Kelly started by saying: "Thank you all so so much for all the love and lovely comments. Never did I think I would get such a response like this."
She then explained that she'd picked up all of the wall stickers from eBay as well as the pictures and black grout pen used on the white wall tiles, while all the other touched are from Primark and the Disney store.
We're not at all surprised by the response Kelly has received because as fellow Disney lovers, we are obsessed too.
