Kate’s ‘gorgeous’ Mother’s Day post gets double the likes of Meghan Markle’s

ROYALS fans were delighted as they were treated to heartwarming Mother’s Day Instagram posts from both Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton yesterday.

Both duchesses opted for very different approaches in their uploads, with Kate Middleton, 38, sharing a series of sentimental snaps of the likes of Princess Diana and her mum Carole.

The post also included a previously unseen adorable family photo of her and Prince William, 37, giving piggyback rides to their smiling kids, Prince George, six, and Princess Charlotte, four.

Meanwhile, the SussexRoyal account decided to post words instead of photos as they praised both American “moms” and British mothers.

Listing all the different types of mothers, the post simply read: “Mummy. Mom. Mama. Granny. Nan. Thank you.”

And it seems that Kate’s Mothering Sunday post was the most effective at tugging on the heartstrings, as it got nearly double the amount of likes as Meghan’s did.

This comes as both accounts are level pegging on followers, with both having 11.3million fans each.

This year marks Meghan’s first Mothering Sunday after she welcomed baby Archie in May last year.

To celebrate her first American Mother's Day, which falls in May, the Duchess posted a photo of baby Archie’s feet in the gardens of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Earlier this week, The Sun exclusively revealed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are now being homeschooled in London after their school St Thomas's closed amid the coronavirus outbreak.

In more Royal Family news, Prince Harry is ‘concerned’ about The Queen as he and Meghan Markle self-isolate in their Canadian mansion.

And this is the awkward moment The Queen doesn’t recognise a painting of her and her father.
