Start by getting a large mixing bowl for all your ingredients and add your peanut butter in, with Amy saying you must resist nibbling on some.

Then pour in your sugar, and using a wooden spoon mix until well combined.

Next crack an egg and add that into the bowl, continuing to stir until everything is mixed.

The only equipment you need is a bowl, spoon, baking tray and an oven

  • 200g Peanut Butter
  • 150g Caster Sugar
  • 1 Egg

Amy warns this next part is quite messy, and you needs to get your hands dirty - literally.

Scoop out some of the dough and roll it into a ball using your hand, and place in on a greased tray or one lined with parchment.

You can leave it chunky or flatten it out, depending on how you like your cookies.

Place 12 evenly spaced dough discs on your oven tray, and pop in your pre-heated oven at 180c.

They only need around 12 minutes to bake, and Amy says “this will feel like the longest 12 minutes.”

When they’re done, simply leave them to cool before digging in.
