This is how to see your laptop screen while working in the sunshine – and all you need is a cardboard box

WITH the glorious sunshine at the moment, many people will be longing to take their laptops outside to soak up some rays. 

Sadly this is usually a disaster with trying to squint at a sun-glared screen on an overheating laptop - but an incredible hack could be a game-changer.

The cardboard box laptop hack was revealed by and thankfully it won’t cost you a penny. 

All you need to do is take an old cardboard box, tilt it on its side, and place the laptop at the back. 

The box will shield the screen so you are able to view your work without getting a glare back. Simple but genius!

Clearly his post has gone down very well with those currently working from home during lockdown, as it has racked up nearly 50,000 likes and 3,500 comments.

Meanwhile, another asked: “How long did it take for your laptop to overheat and shut itself down?”

Tom replied: "It’s in a cardboard box... not an oven.”

He added that he placed the box in the shade and the box had openings for ventilation.
