Mum-of-16 shares colour coding tips to speed up laundry & reveals why she NEVER writes kids’ names in clothes
A MUM-of-16 has revealed her tips and tricks for speeding up her mountains of laundry - and why colour coding is key.
Tiffany and Benji Nelson, from America, are the proud parents of 16 kids, ranging from 23-years-old to 11-months-old.

With so many children to look after, Tiffany revealed how she streamlines washing in the house - as she showed off how much laundry piles up after just one day.
And with so much washing to get through, Tiffany reveals she has a helper - LiLee, 14.
Each kid gets given a chore which they're in charge of for a year, with Tiffany saying it helps them become ‘pros’, and she doesn’t have to keep teaching different kids how to get the job done.
Chatting in a video on the channel, , Tiffany says: “If every day my kids wear one to two outfits and get them messy, and pyjamas if you include that, this is how much laundry we have for just one day.

“What about towels? This is how much we have from literally one day.
“If I don’t do laundry for one week, it gets out of control.”
After roping in LiLee to help, Tiffany explains they start by sorting the clothes into four piles - darks, blacks and blues, towels, reds and pinks then whites.

“We usually have a full load of just pinks and red everyday,” Tiffany added.
The family has a utility room - with a washer and dryer - which is full of storage.
The mum said: “How we start with our laundry is we put them into colours in these cabinets.”

Whenever a pile accumulates enough clothes, the pair chuck it in the machine as Tiffany admitted: “It’s never-ending.”
After doing thousands of loads of laundry over the years Tiffany has come up with a nifty solution to make it easier.
She said: “This is a system which works best for me with a lot of kids, so if you have a lot of kids in your family try this out.
“So what I do is each size of clothes, instead of putting the name or having baskets with the children’s names on them, I just put a coloured dot on the different sizes of the clothes.
“Because that way when I pass them down or I hand them down to the next child, they don’t have Luke’s name on it when Beckham gets it, it just has a colour.
“And they know that’s their colour during that time in their life when they’re that size.
“Then, as I get them out of my clean clothes, I just go ahead and I find the hanger, some of them have tape on them, some of them have marker, whatever works.
“And I just correlate the colours, which makes it so easy if I have kids helping me, or if I have anybody helping me, because it’s hard to know what belongs to PaisLee or PresLee because their sizes are so similar just to look at them.
“Then you have to be looking for the size and that’s really difficult, so you can just see the colour, throw it on the coloured hanger, hang it up or put it in the basket.
“We always hang up all of our shirts and dresses or sweaters, and all of our pyjamas or pants go in the basket.”
After she finishes sorting through the laundry, Tiffany admitted the utility room is usually a lot more hectic.
Gesturing towards the baskets, she said: “These usually get pretty high because we try and do this every other day, or every third day, we do actually get everything folded and put in different rooms."
Tiffany admitted she wishes she was able to get round to putting them away every day.
She added: “I call all the kids and they come and grab their colour and bring it to their rooms.”
And explaining their family set-up, the Nelsons said: “We always get asked if they are all ours!!? 7 are biological and 9 are adopted!
“SO YES!! THEY ARE ALL OURS!! We sure love each one of our 16 kiddos!”
