Grenade Energy is great for a boost at work or the gym
  • Grenade Energy, £1.99 for 330ml (11cal) from grenade.com/uk -

Grenade Energy is a sugar-free drink containing natural caffeine, electrolytes, vitamins and amino acids to build muscle and fight fatigue.

If you need a boost for work or the gym, this is great.

It’s clear and tastes fruity but also slightly metallic – and is a bit too sweet to be refreshing for me.

  • DRGN, £1.75 for 200ml (53cal) from drgndrink.com -

Described as the world’s first “turmeric superdrink”, DRGN contains no caffeine but the turmeric is claimed to boost serotonin and dopamine in your body to alleviate chronic fatigue.

Contains ginger, black pepper, electrolytes and vitamins.

It is bright yellow and refreshing. Citrusy but refined, you can imagine drinking this in a glass as a mixer.

  • Tenzing, £1.49 for 250ml (48cal) from Amazon.co.uk -

A refreshing, sparkly, clean herbal taste. I loved it.

Tenzing contains hydrating Himalayan rock salt and sparkling water, beet sugar, natural green coffee, green tea and guarana for energy plus reviving lemon juice and antioxidant-rich Indian gooseberry.

That’s it – so it is good for you too. My definite favourite. Plus 5 per cent of all profits go to charity.

My least favourite as this only contains vitamin C with the collagen plus it was far too bitter. Bearable mixed with water.

Mango flavour. Pricey, but my favourite.
