Michelle Keegan’s jaw-dropping style evolution from sweet girl-next-door obsessed with fake tan to stunning fashionista
MICHELLE Keegan has come a long way since her days as a soap newcomer with a love of fake tan and back-combed hair.
The fashionista, 33, has undergone a striking style evolution over the years, and now is almost as known for her jaw-dropping style as her on-screen moments.
This week, the Our Girl star shared a sultry snap of her wearing knee-high boots and a very mini skirt.
And this followed Michelle sending fans wild when she unveiled chicest EVER Very range.
It was worlds apart from how we first saw Michelle when she started Coronation Street, with giant hoop earrings and a bright layer of tan.
Here’s how Michelle’s style has developed over the years...
2007
Michelle burst onto our screens in 2007, when she landed the role of Tina in Coronation Street.
She had previously worked at an airport check-in desk but left all this behind for a life in front of the camera.
Tina's hoop earrings and scraped back hair may not have been Michelle's personal taste, but it's how we first saw the actress.
2009
Now a Corrie name, Michelle started getting comfortable to red carpet life - and this was reflected in her style.
The young actress happily embraced stilettos and mini dresses for public events and ensured all eyes were on her.
For Michelle, it was all about big hair, big hoops and sparkly outfits - a far cry from her sleek look of today.
2012
Michelle underwent a style transformation after meeting future husband Mark Wright in Dubai in 2012.
The Stockport babe had an Essex makeover after meeting Towie star Mark while on holiday.
Michelle still looked striking, but the hair was sleeker and the make-up more glam.
2013
Michelle and Mark went public with their romance in May 2013 at the British Soap Awards - and Michelle looked super glamorous in a glistening champagne dress and a blow dry to match.
By this time, Michelle was developing her signature style, and opting for more sophisticated gowns and looks.
Michelle's Our Girl show first aired in 2013, and she would leave her Corrie role in 2014.
2016
The naturally brunette star shocked fans in 2016 at the Revlon masquerade ball when she showed off bombshell platinum locks.
People were divided as to whether they liked the look, with some saying she should keep it, and others on the fence.
It was revealed that the blonde hair was needed for her new Tina & Bobby role and wouldn't be a permanent fixture.
2017
By 2017, Michelle was comfortable in her glam style and happily planning her wedding to Mark, which would take place in 2018.
Michelle was pictured at the Brit Awards in a stylish blue jumpsuit, with a black belt around the waist.
The look was simple but glamorous, with her shorter locks in loose curls.
2020
Michelle certainly doesn't hold back when it comes to her serving incredible looks on Instagram nowadays.
From sultry selfies to high glamour dresses, she's proved she is more than worthy of the title of being a social media fashion icon.
Rarely putting a satorial toe out of line, we wish we could look as polished and sexy as Michelle.
