WE’VE all been guilty of skimming over our horoscope and picking out the bit we want to be true - plus ignoring the negative aspects. 

But most of us don’t shape our entire lives around the stars.

Not so 30-year-old Stephanie Trussler, from Worcestershire, who admitted she is such a fan of the zodiac she’s made huge life decisions based on what they advise.

From dating and dumping blokes to moving countries, Stephanie loves her horoscopes. 

‘I know people think I’m bonkers,’ she laughed. 

Now she tells her story to Fabulous:

AS soon as I met Rob Gayden my heart clenched. 

‘Wow, he’s really fit,’ I thought.

It was October 2017 and he’d auditioned for our pop/rock band. I fancied him straight away and as soon as he left the audition I looked up his sheet to see his birthday and find out his age.

He was 11 years older than me - which I was fine with - but something else was wrong.

‘S***, he’s a Leo,’ I thought, full of disappointment. 

Leos are confident, enthusiastic and charismatic - but also arrogant, egotistical and stubborn.

And they are NOT a match for a gentle Pisces like me. 

We’re compassionate, artistic, intuitive, gentle, wise and musical - and maybe just a bit fearful.

‘I really like him,’ I told my friend. ‘But he’s all wrong for me. I’ve never had a successful love match with a Leo. I think they’re uncaring and they think I’m weak.’

So, despite my disappointment, I stopped thoughts of us being a couple. I knew it would never work - I didn’t date Leos. 

It wasn’t the first time I had called time on a relationship because our star signs were incompatible.

A few years earlier another relationship had folded because the bloke was a Scopio. 

Normally Pisces like Scorpios, but I never had - I found them clingy.

So I quickly realised his star sign was going to be an issue in our relationship. That’s why, two years after getting together - and always secretly being uncomfortable in our relationship, I broke it off. 

‘It’s not you, it’s me,’ I said.

I could hardly tell him it was neither of us - it was the zodiac. He’d have thought me bonkers.

My star sign impacted on the break up too. I took ages calling it off, my Piscean empathy making it a real challenge to just end things, despite me really wanting to. 

Even though Rob was technically a Leo I couldn’t get him out of my head and would daydream about him (another Piscean trait).

So, after he joined our band, I went back and did a fuller horoscope on him.

And realised something huge - he was on the cusp of Virgo. 

That made things very different. 

Virgos are hard-working, creative and reliable - it sounded much more like Rob.

And happily, I am a brilliant match with Virgos - they’re one of the star signs I’ve always felt a special affinity with.

So, I started flirting with Rob, who works in the motor trade and is now 41, and in December 2017 we became a couple and three years on still are. 

He isn’t into horoscopes but humours me - even when I burn sage around the house to cleanse it of negative energies.

So if I go to the shops and encounter a rude person whose energy  I might bring home with me - the sage gets rid of it 

And he doesn’t care when I read and absorb my horoscope (and his too) every morning.

I fail to see how horoscopes can’t be real. They suit people’s characters I know too much for it be a coincidence. 

And I’ve gone into my job as a reiki healer, qualified counsellor and psychic medium based on my horoscope.

As a Pisces I am really empathetic and love talking and listening. I am always happy to lend a helping hand and kind ear - perfect for my jobs.

Meanwhile my Gemini mate has become a manager. 

It suits her down to the ground. Geminis are outgoing, intelligent and adaptable.

But it isn’t just horoscopes I love and believe.

I have psychic readings too where I go to people’s houses and they predict your future. They can communicate with spirits.

Last time I was there a psychic told me it was finally time to set up ‘that business I had been thinking about’.

So I did!

I don’t know how she knew I had been toying with setting up a psychic reading company for years but I had so in October this year I finally bit the bullet and launched Enchanted Gateway.

It’s proved really popular - but I would never have done it unless a psychic told me too.

On the other hand I was going to set up my own counselling practice but a psychic warned me off this. She couldn’t explain why, but I trust her reasoning so that’s on hold for now. 

I do smaller things as ordered by her too. I was warned I needed to get my affairs in order and buy a diary, so I headed straight to the shops and picked one up.

I’ve taken trips based on my horoscope and psychic readings too. In 2011 a horoscope said I would travel, so I headed to the USA and ended up living there.

In a coffee shop in Long Island a few months later  a psychic approached me and said ‘you will have a flight or flight moment’ and then weeks after that my nan sadly died. 

I had to make a decision whether  to stay or leave - and two days later I was back home. 

I don’t know how she knew, but she did. 

I know some mates think it’s bonkers I live my life by the stars but so far it has served me well. 

I’m in a happy relationship, my business is thriving and I’m healthy - so I’m going to stop.
