Meghan Markle & Prince Harry show the Queen how much baby Archie has grown on sweet Zoom chats, claims biographer
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry “show Archie to the Queen on Zoom calls”, but “don’t have contact with Kate Middleton and Prince William”, it has been claimed.
Royal biographer Sean Smith, who released Meghan Misunderstood last week, said Meghan and sister-in-law Kate “weren’t sisters” and didn’t have a close bond.

Sean said he would be “surprised” if Meghan still has contact with William and Kate, now they are in separate time zones.
He told Fabulous: “I presume they [the royal family] have Zoom calls and she [Meghan] participates in them.
“Particularly with the Queen I understand, showing how much Archie has grown this week.
“But whether they have any contact with William and Kate, I don’t know. I’d be surprised.”
Sean said that Meghan felt “lonely” and “isolated” in the UK and “didn’t have many friends here.”
The Duchess of Sussex, 39, may have enjoyed time spent with Prince Harry, 36, in England, but is much happier in California, claims the author.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior royals in March, and are now living in a £11million mansion in Santa Barbara, with one-year-old Archie.
Sean said: “One of the first things said when she went back to the US was ‘It is good to be home’, and I think that speaks volumes.
“I don’t think it is a secret that she was isolated.”
After tying the knot in their star-studded 2018 wedding, Meghan and Harry relocated from Kensington Palace to live at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
Sean added that “sociable” Meghan felt cut off and lacking a close female friend to help her adjust to royal life.
He continued: “I think she liked being with Harry, they are very much in love. She had her son here, which obviously is the most important thing in their lives.
“I’m not sure how many friends she was actually making in the UK. I can’t think of anybody who stands out as a friend.
“Obviously Harry has friends here and they were able to socialise with them, but a buddy or girlfriend, I’m not aware of her having one over here.
“I think she was lonely for female company, but she wasn’t lonely in that she was with the two most important people in her life.”
Speaking of Meghan’s relationship with Kate, Sean said: “Clearly they weren’t sisters, they didn’t get on. I think Kate has always had a focus.”
The biographer added that Meghan missed mum Doria Ragland and her “network of friends across the Atlantic.”
He said: “She is a very sociable person and I don’t think that was the case over here. I just don’t think she knew people over here.
“I think she definitely felt isolated and that she couldn’t speak up, and this is somebody who is a mature, high-achiever.”
Sean said that he hopes Meghan will not return to the UK as she can “achieve more in the US promoting the things she matters to her.”
He explained: “She is much more in tune with thinking in America than she is with thinking over here.
“It is nonsense to suggest she shouldn’t have a voice and urge people to vote. We live in a modern world.
“I think they have a very strong partnership. She has regained her voice.
“I was told she is regarded in a much better light in the US than she is in the UK in terms of how she is perceived publicly.”
He said that the couple are so settled in California that he expects them to send Archie to school there.
Sean said: “They will be settled in Montecito. What is there not like about it?”
It has been announced that Meghan and Harry won’t come over to the UK for a royal Christmas at Sandringham.
And the biographer doubted whether Meghan would have wanted to do the visit, even if the coronavirus pandemic allowed.
He said: “There was never any question of them coming over for Christmas. Why would they want to?
“Her mum is in California and Archie is safe and well there.
“Why would they want to come over here at a difficult time. I’m not even sure the royal Christmas will happen this year.”
Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
