AS one of the UK's most popular actresses, we expect Michelle Keegan has her pick of roles - having risen up the ranks from Corrie barmaid to Sergeant Georgie Lane in Our Girl.
But it looks like the actress has got her sights set on even greater things - and would love one day love to play a Royal.
No we're not talking about a new role in The Crown - but rather, Michelle, 33, told The Sun on Sunday that she's got her heart set on playing the Duchess of Cambridge.
She said: "I'd love to play Kate. I'm getting there with my accents, I do like doing them."
What's more, Michelle said Kate, 38, is "just a normal girl at heart" which would make her a perfect fit for the part.
Here Fabulous Digital takes a look at how Michelle is already channelling Kate - from her hair and fashion choices right down to their strict exercise regimes.
Hair
There's no denying that Michelle has perfected Kate's signature bouncy blow-dry - but the actress has also got the same "bronde" highlights as the Duchess.
While filming a video of Michelle's beautiful new colour, celeb hairdresser Calum Tierney explained how this "hair contouring" technique expertly frames the face.
He explained: "[The method] uses a combination of free hand application and highlighting, paired with the careful positioning of different tones and depths around the face to highlight and shadow targeted areas.”
Darker shades are used to create shadows, and this can help to narrow a face shape while lighter tones have the opposite effect and can lengthen or elongate by reflecting light.
Diet
What's more, Michelle is also channeling Kate with her diet choices too and the two women often start their day with a smoothie.
The Our Girl actress told the that she'll have a high protein banana smoothie with peanut butter after a regular breakfast of scrambled toast on brown bread.
Meanwhile, Kate reportedly drinks green tea and kale smoothies twice a day.
A source told the : "She drinks smoothies morning and afternoon, containing spirulina, kale, matcha (a finely ground green tea powder), spinach, romaine, cilantro and blueberries."
Although the Duchess isn't a vegetarian, Chef Raghu Deora - who served the royal couple lunch at the Taj Mahal in 2016 - created a meat-free menu.
He said: "It is all vegetarian because I was told that was what they preferred."
During a visit to Japan House London in 2018, Prince William told the head chef: "My wife and I love sushi. We might have to come down here for lunch when no one else is in!"
Michelle also opts for meat-free lunches and previously told Women's Health that she prefers sushi, salad, or a pasta dish to keep her going.
Although Michelle will happily tuck into a Chinese takeaway on a Saturday night, she told Cosmopolitan that she's not the biggest meat eater.
She said: "I don't eat red meat. I've never really liked the taste, ever. I've never been one to go out and have a steak, I've never craved it.
"Even with a roast dinner, if my mum would serve lamb or beef, I'd always leave it to the side."
Exercise Regime
She may be a busy working mum-of-three - but Kate Middleton still finds time to incorporate workouts into her weekly schedule.
Describing Kate as an "exercise junkie", a source told the that the Duchess is a fan of CrossFit - which is a series of high-intensity workouts using weights and resistance training.
Kate also combines this with regular tennis practice and hard-core exercises such as The Plank, squats and stomach crunches
The source said: "The tennis court at Anmer has been the scene of many hard-fought matches, singles and doubles."
Taking inspiration from Kate's intensive work-outs, Michelle Keegan has achieved her killer figure by going to the gym up to five times a week .
And just like Kate with her CrossFit, the actress is a fan of weight training.
She told : "A few years ago I would have done about 40 minutes of cardio, whereas now I feel like the more I do weights, the more I see a change in my body.
"For my body, weight training is better for me. I do alternative days, so one day I’ll focus on my legs, and the next day I’ll focus on my arms."
And when she fancies it, Michelle will also incorporate some cardio by going for bike rides - but admitted that her hobby only lasted three weeks in lockdown.
Fashion
From their shared love of tartan to knowing the power of pantsuits, sometimes it seems like Michelle and Kate share a wardrobe.
Fashion expert, Simren Ahir, revealed the former Corrie star looks to Kate to copy her key looks before giving them a fresh update.
Simren, womenswear buyer at , told Fabulous Digital: “Kate’s timeless classic style makes her a true fashion icon and Michelle Keegan incorporates these looks for a fresh update into her wardrobe this season.”
For instance, Simren said: “Kate wears her tartan coat done up and opts for a fitted silhouette to accentuate her waist, while Michelle teams hers with chunky boots and a hat, worn undone for a relaxed look perfect for day drinks with the girls.”
