Cleaning fans share epic December challenge but people reckon day 17 would take them all MONTH
NO ONE wants to spend Christmas Day cleaning, but keeping on top of laundry, dishes, and other household chores can feel never-ending.
One cleaning fan has shared a challenge for December, breaking up tasks like cleaning the oven across the 24 days of advent - hopefully meaning that the house is sparkling come Christmas.
Posting in Facebook group , Veronica shared the long list of tasks, including things like "Clean out your purse, handbag or backpack", and "Wash inside windows with glass cleaner".
Captioning the picture she wrote, "Does anyone want to do this Christmas cleaning challenge with me?
"I'm getting started today and am really going to try to stick to it."
Lots of fellow cleaning enthusiasts commented to say what a great idea it was and that they'd be joining her on the challenge.
One said, "YES YES YES!!!! I need this"
A second commented, "Literally my Friday evening every week!"
"I love this because it’s so realistic. Dust off house plants. I’m the kind of girl that needs to do this", another added.
Others weren't totally convinced, asking if they could "book holiday" on the day with the task of cleaning the oven, while another said cleaning their desk would take them all month.
Another joked that they'd prefer to skip to the final day, where the task is simply to "dust off a wine glass and have a drink".
Veronica shared where she talks about starting the December cleaning challenge.
