As her police officer husband also volunteers as a fireman, the woman wanted to add some rubies or sapphires to her wedding ring.

She wrote: "I'm concerned it’ll look like I’m walking around with an American flag on my finger."

After posting a picture of her ring, the woman added: "Ignore the fact that I’m 10 months overdue for a manicure."

However, other members of the group weren't so forgiving - and blasted her "horrified" chipped nail polish.

"I will not ignore the fact she is so overdue for a manicure," one wrote. "Because if she just takes nail polish remover and some cotton wool she can fix all of this."

Another added: "Let’s spring a couple of bucks for a bottle of nail polish remover, okay?"

Meanwhile, a third responded: "My cuticles hurt just looking at this photo."

That said, some members supported her idea to change her wedding ring and said it was "sweet".

For more wedding stories, this ungrateful woman returned a ‘cheap’ £2,200 engagement ring because groom didn’t spend 10% of his wage on it.

And this bride-to-be was slammed for taking out her phone to upload a photo of her engagement ring BEFORE saying yes.

Plus wedding shamers blasted bride for wearing a dress she can’t ‘walk, sit or dance in’.
