Organised mums reckon Poundland has won 2021 with a spice rack they’re using to store everything from food to make-up
THE new year often sparks a desire to want to get organised - whether that be a tidy home or a well planned out day-to-day.
And helping the organising-obsessed on their way is Poundland's £2 rotating spice rack, which people are using to store everything from food to make-up.
While it's normally reserved for pantry storage, a make-up fanatic thought it was best suited to store her cosmetics - and it actually works really well.
Taking to the Facebook group Poundland Appreciation Society, Faye Ward shared a slip of her rotating unit in action and wrote: "I'm obsessed with this!"
She has her make-up brushes and larger bottles occupying the top shelf of the unit while smaller bottles, like her foundation, are on the bottom.
The genius tip didn't go unnoticed with many quick to praise the idea and vowed to try it themselves.
"Omg! Need!" wrote one fan, while another said: "Getting one for my dressing table."
"I got one of these for my daughter and it's still going strong, she loves it," a third added.
The stackable spice rack is also a top pick for new mums, who are using it to store baby food, in a bid to free up space in their cupboards.
Singing the praises of the rack, one savvy mum posted a video on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.
"It works so well!" she wrote, as she displayed her baby food sachets perfectly arranged in the kitchen unit.
The storage units aren't new to Poundland and were released last year, but it seems many are rushing to stock up in a bid to start the new year right.
