The Queen sat alone during the service and separate from other members of the Royal family due to Covid restrictions.

But she sought reassurance from the rest of her family before entering the chapel, which body language expert Judi James said "look terribly poignant".

"There was one moment when she paused and turned around before entering the chapel and it looked terribly poignant, almost as though she couldn't face going in alone. She turned for what looked like reassurance that her party was behind her," Judi told

What's more, the expert said the grieving monarch "provided the most memorable moments" as she sat alone in the chapel with her head dipped "so low her face was completely covered from view by her hat."

Queen Elizabeth arrived at the service in a Bentley with trusted lady-in-waiting Lady Susan Hussey - with both wearing black facemasks.

Lady Susan Hussey, 81, has a strong bond with Queen Elizabeth II, having served her for decades.

The loyal friend entered the chapel but was there as a working household member - not one of the 30 guests attending the funeral - so she did not seat with the Windsors.

Speaking of the car journey to the service, Judi said that the Queen "could be seen dabbing one eye as she sat in the car, suggesting tears".

She was also "chatting to her lady-in-waiting" which suggests she was "gathering some comfort from the company."

Judi also described the monarch as the "most animated royal", despite her "need for support."

"She talked in quite an animated way to her lady-in-waiting and to the bishop at the entrance to the chapel," noted Judi.

Judi James also told Fabulous that Princes William & Harry were ‘relaxed in moment of unity’ as they chatted at Philip’s funeral.

And supportive’ Camilla comforted Prince Charles who was ‘overcome by grief’ at Prince Philip funeral.

Plus the Royal Family paid heartwarming tribute to Prince Philip as they revealed the ‘unique touches’ Duke planned for his funeral.
