FROM her organisation hacks to her relatable parenting tips, there's no denying that Stacey Solomon is a woman after our own hearts - especially as she can't resist a home interiors bargain too.

Earlier this year, the Loose Women star moved into a £1.2m Essex property with fiance Joe Swash and the couple are in the process of turning "Pickle Cottage" into their forever home.

Along with her brand spanking new blue bathroom, Stacey has finally put the finishing touches on her youngest son Rex's bedroom - and we can't deny that we have SERIOUS interior envy.

From the wall of soft toys to expertly revamped wardrobes, there's no denying that the mum-of-three has created a seriously luxurious-looking kids' room with her grey-and-white theme.

But instead of getting the experts in, Stacey stuck to a shoestring budget and turned to Amazon, Dunelm and IKEA for her bargain buys.

All through the process, Stacey has been documenting every stage with her 4.4m followers - and to start with, she turned her attention to the fireplace.

The dated oak mantelpiece had floral tiles underneath - which were trendy at the time but not suitable for a toddler's bedroom.

"I didn't know how to theme the room around all that was going on in this fireplace," Stacey said. "So as lovely as it was, I needed something a bit more neutral."

Taking interiors notes from best pal Mrs Hinch, Stacey painted the frame grey and covered the tiles in black paint.

Showing off the results, she said: "It looks very silver where the paint is wet but it's actually a really nice matte grey when it dries."

Next, Stacey up some £9.99 animal-themed stickers she bought from Amazon up on the walls and raved about the sweet soft toy zebras she bought from Dunelm for only £8.

She continued: "I'm in love with these little zebras from Dunelm and I bought some wall stickers to decorate a patch of his wall with from Amazon."

Addressing Rex, she added: "There you go pickle!

"Now you can kiss them every morning on your way to brushing your teeth."

What's more, Stacey decided to make a contrasting wall out of the animal stickers and used Frenchic's £16.95 Al Fresco paint in the shade City Slicker to create darker blocks.

Any excuse for another of her "Tap to Tidy" posts, Stacey filmed the process for fans on Instagram in a step-by-step video.

First, she outlined her sections using frog tape, using her eye for a guide, before painting the bottom sections with dark grey on one side and a lighter grey on the other.

The savvy mum also secured an adorable £16.99 Panda shelving unit from Home Zone Store to Rex's wall along with some affordable £10 hexagonal lights.

And even though Rex has some beautifully painted walls, Stacey said she wanted to give him an area to be creative.

The mum gave fans a glimpse of the Chalkboard paint that can be .

Stacey said: "I've bought some chalkboard paint and apparently you just paint this on a bit of the wall and then you can draw on it with chalk markers and rub it off again like a blackboard.

"I mean he loves drawing on the walls for the best of times, so I thought I might as well dedicate him a space where he's actually allowed to do it."

Meanwhile, the talented DIY fanatic also gave Rex's white floral wardrobes a makeover to fit in with the rest of the room.

After making it grey and removing the curtains, she wrote: "I'm so proud of this little wardrobe.

"It's taken me a while but I'm so pleased with it!"

Before unveiling the finished results, Stacey also removed the dated green carpets and restored the wooden floorboards in Rex's room before adding some fake marble sticker tiles from Amazon in his en suite.

To finish off, Stacey created a sweet panda wall opposite Rex's bed - but didn't notice that it could look somewhat rude.

Stacey had attached the pandas diagonally - all grabbing onto the other in a line, but Leighton soon had his little brother giggling as he pointed out they were holding each other's bums.

However, Stacey's sister - who runs her company The Label Lady - came to the rescue when she gave the pandas a balloon and a sticker reading: "The best thing to hold onto in life is each other!"
