Bride rages as ‘tacky’ stepmum shows up to wedding in white lace bridal dress & people can’t tell who’s getting married
IN the run-up to your big day, most brides are too busy finalising their flower arrangements, seating plans and music set list to spare a thought about what their guests are going to wear.
However, we can only imagine how much this newlywed is regretting not touching base with her stepmom after she rocked up to the wedding in a white lace gown.
Posting on , the anonymous bride shared a photo of her and her dad's wife on her special day - but covered their faces with some VERY telling emojis.
She captioned the cringeworthy picture: "My stepmom showed up in a lace white dress to my wedding..."
Not only did the stepmum's dress have pretty floral lace detail, it also had an off-shoulder detail just like the bride's - so it's no wonder people struggled to tell them apart.
"I thought about making her cover up but I knew it wouldn't do any good," the bride added in the comments. "She's tone deaf. Luckily this was a Covid wedding (less than 14 guests)."

As a result of her fashion faux pas, the bride said she's not planning on inviting her step-mother to the wedding reception she's planning to throw when lockdown restrictions ease.
When asked if anyone confronted her about her "inappropriate" dress, the bride added: "Everyone thought what she was doing was dumb, but my family doesn't bother with her anymore.
"It was a small ceremony (only family) so everyone knows about her shenanigans."
Needless to say, the picture of the two women side-by-side left members of the forum stunned.
While one labelled her "tacky", another added: "For the love of c**p, how hard is it to NOT wear white at a wedding?"
A third fumed: "NoOoOooOoooOo!!!! That’s bad. That’s really bad."
"I wouldn't have let her in till she changed or got stuff to cover it up," a fourth said. "Anyone with a brain knows not to do this."
