THERE’S no denying Danniella Westbrook’s face has undergone quite the transformation since she shot to fame in EastEnders in 1990.

After years of cocaine abuse and botched surgery, the actress - who played Sam Mitchell on the BBC soap - is almost unrecognisable from the fresh-faced younger sister of Grant and Phil Mitchell.

Danniella, 48, recently underwent another round in a series of surgeries that will see her getting part of her rib implanted in her face.

And she looked unrecognisable when she showed off the results of her latest nose job this week.

She went make-up free earlier this week as she walked her dog Bruno.

Last night, she looked fresh faced and healthy in a new video as she walked her bulldog, and told fans: "I've got no make up on today. But does anyone else's dog look at them really oddly when they hug a tree? Because mine does."

Danniella Westbrook's first snaps after nose job as she goes 'make up free'

The star recently told The Sun she is hoping surgery will not only help rebuild her face but also restore her shattered self-confidence.

The mum of two has already had two of FIVE reconstructive operations at Liverpool's Aintree Hospital, and has more surgery appointments coming up at the end of April and in May.

Danniella has been undergoing regular surgeries over the last year to help rebuild her face.

In May last year, Danniella completed the first stage of her planned operations. 

She said at the time: “Stage one of the four-part journey of reconstructive surgery to rebuild my face and finally stop all the hate.”

She was forced to have her jaw rebuilt after the bones started “rotting away,” due to osteoporosis from the amount of cocaine she’s consumed.

In a 2018 interview, she told how her left cheekbone was “wasting” away and she’s been left with screws instead of teeth, which cut her tongue as she spoke.

Danniella’s confessed some days she would wake up and the left side of her face was completely “sunken”. 

Other days her cheek would swell up in agony as her bones were “decaying” and “weakened”.

“I just don’t look like myself any more,” Danniella said. “Obviously I’m going to age a lot faster anyway because of the drugs but I didn’t need this as well.”

A pal close to Danniella revealed how important her upcoming facial surgery is for her.

They said: “This is an incredibly important process for Danniella. It is more than just an operation.

"It is the start of a major new chapter in her life.
