Mum stunned by Aldi shopper’s heartwarming gesture – which she only realises when she goes to pay for her £100 shop
A WOMAN has been left stunned by the kindness of a stranger when he paid for her groceries totalling £100.
The Australian woman had been standing in a long queue in Aldi, and when the till beside her opened, she told the man to go ahead of her.
Although she was closer to the newly-opened till. the woman said she expected nothing for her kind gesture.
"I didn't think anything of letting him go first because he was there before me,' she wrote in a post detailing the kind exchange," the woman told
Adding: "He hung around at the front after he had been served and when my groceries were finished being scanned, he stepped up and paid for them."
Shocked, the woman said that she didn't feel her small gesture of kindness, was worth such a huge reward.

"What he did for me was a lot nicer than what I did for him, I couldn't believe it," she said.
However, the man explained that he wanted to do something to express his gratitude.
Posting in an Aldi-related Facebook group, the mum's experience went viral and viewers were quick to comment.
"So wonderful to see they're still kind people in this world both of you deserve credit for your kindness," one person commented.
