MEGHAN Markle's half-brother Thomas has written a letter from the Big Brother house, apologising for sending a "mean" note to the Duchess before the Royal Wedding.

Back in 2018, Thomas Markle Jr, 55, penned a letter calling Meghan a "jaded, shallow, conceited woman" and branded the upcoming wedding a "fake fairy tale".

Big Brother contestant Luke Toki was tasked with convincing Thomas to write another letter to the Royals to apologise for the bombshell 2018 note, in which he warned Prince Harry his Meghan would "ruin his life".

Thomas agreed to do so and admitted that the previous letter "came from a very dark and hurt part of my heart".

He wrote: "Dear Meghan and Harry, the first thing I want to say to both of you is that I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart for the awful mean letter that I wrote to you prior to your wedding.

"And I want both of you to know it did not come from the real person that I am but came from a very dark and hurt part of my heart… I am not a mean person at all, and I have more love inside me to give than anything.

"The letter was definitely written out of me feeling like really hurt and confused when I was informed of your response that I was distant family and that you did not know those people.

"I was very hurt and confused because of the amazing bond and relationship we shared growing up together and all I could do was put up a defence wall to protect my heart.

"I know that it was very immature and wrong and I truly regret it. When your relationship with Harry became known to the world, my life then became public.

"I along with everyone in our family became public figures overnight. No more privacy. And let me tell you it was very, very stressful to have to deal with all alone and no help at all.

"A real nightmare and constant pressure. I wish I could turn back the clock and do it all over, knowing what I know now.

"I would have never tried to communicate any of my feelings in the media. I feel like a complete a** for what I have done, and I am truly sorry for that.

"Meg, if I could really turn the clock back, I would truly tell you that I am so, so proud of you and truly I am so happy for you and Harry. And I love you.

"You are my little sister, my family and you always will be. Now you have found the love of your life and started a family of your own I couldn't be more proud of you.

"The last several years of my life, I have grown and learned a lot more of myself and I must say that what I did to you with that letter is quite possibly the biggest mistake of my life.

"I truly hope you and Harry find it in your hearts somehow to accept my sincere apology because this is the real Tom Markle Jr. I truly love you guys and I want you to know that about me.

'I wish you Meghan, Harry, Archie and Lili the happiest, most loving life possible. Sincerely, your big brother, Tom."

Speaking to his fellow contestant, he said: "She is my sister and she's my blood, and I mean I love the hell out of her."

It comes a week after the 55-year-old described the Duchess as "cold" and said she will dump Harry, the same way she "walked all over" her first husband Trevor Engelson.

He added that he had "no idea" how Meghan ended up with a prince and pointed out that Harry "never smiles anymore".

Speaking to New Idea Magazine, he also claimed that his sister has "that personality" to run for US president.
