This is what your favorite major Succession character says about you – from Logan to Greg and beyond
SUCCESSION fans have met a myriad of characters over the HBO show's three-season run, and will undoubtedly be introduced to more during the show's fourth season.
From Logan, the aging patriarch of the Roy family who founded the multi-billion dollar company Waystar RoyCo, to his mistress who he shockingly asked to take over the company, there is a character or storyline that almost anyone can identify with.
Between the multiple Roy family members and beyond, here's what your favorite major Succession character says about you.
CONNOR ROY (ALAN RUCK)
Connor is the oldest of the Roy siblings and ironically the most far-removed from the politics of Waystar RoyCo.
He has no interest in taking over the family company, but still has huge goals for himself – like becoming President of the United States.
If you’re like him, you’re likely the black sheep of your family who doesn’t care to follow any sort of familial tradition and would rather chase your own dreams.
FRANK VERNON (PETER FRIEDMAN)
Frank is a longtime confidant to Logan, as he served as Waystar RoyCo’s chief operating officer for years.
If you take pride in your job and can be trusted by those around you, you are much like Frank.

GERRI KELLMAN (J. SMITH-CAMERON)
Gerri is the General Counsel and interim CEO of Waystar RoyCo – although Logan plans to never give her full power over his beloved company.
Adding some real responsibility to her plate would actually be a safe move for Logan in terms of looking out for the company, as she has exemplified her competence time and time again.
She seems to want nothing else besides keeping Waystar alive and well – but she will make a calculated move for her personal benefit if she must.
She also knows not to assume she is anything special to Logan.
Those who also use their wit to guide them and stay weary in all situations will identify with Gerri.
GREG HIRSCH (NICHOLAS BRAUN)
Cousin Greg is the grandson of Ewan Roy, Logan's estranged older brother.
He got a job as an executive assistant at Waystar RoyCo and quickly became intertwined in the family’s struggles for money and power.
When Ewan became fed up with Greg’s new life, he made him choose between his inheritance and his career – and Greg chose the latter.
If you would sacrifice your impressive inheritance and disappoint your family for a career move, you’re a lot like Greg.
KARL MULLER (DAVID RASCHE)
Karl is Waystar RoyCo’s chief financial officer.
He puts the company first, but if he needs to bite to get the best deal for himself, he will.
If you’re nice until you can’t be, you will sympathize with Karl.
KENDALL ROY (JEREMY STRONG)
Kendall is the conniving son of Logan who seeks to take his place as the boss at Waystar RoyCo – although he’s not much of a threat thanks to his impulsive behavior.
Viewers can sympathize with him due to his constant need of approval from his father – despite his father constantly reminding his children how disappointing they are.
If you were a teacher’s pet, you might identify with him.
You think highly of yourself, but only with the approval of those around you.
LOGAN ROY (BRIAN COX)
Logan is the no-nonsense patriarch of the Roy family who founded the multi-billion dollar media company Waystar RoyCo from scratch.
If you would do anything it takes to get on top and want to protect your success at all costs – even if it means most people are intimidated by you – then you might look at Logan as a great idol.
You likely see power and money as the ultimate show of success.
MARCIA ROY (HIAM ABBASS)
Marcia is Logan’s committed and loyal third wife.
While she fights for approval from Logan’s kids, she knows she has great power within Waystar RoyCo and over Logan’s decisions.
That is until she found out that Logan plans to leave the company to his mistress.
She decided she finally had enough, and only agreed to reconcile with Logan after she demanded money from him.
If you’re like Marcia, you’ll likely suffer until you simply break down and finally fight for your own happiness.
RAVA ROY (NATALIE GOLD)
Rava is the estranged wife of Kendall who primarily takes care of their children.
Despite being separated, she still lovingly supports Kendall.
For instance, she offered up her house when he needed a place to stay as he plotted against his father.
If you’re like her, you’ll endure hardship to care for the ones you love.
ROMAN ROY ( KIERAN CULKIN)
Roman wants to head Waystar RoyCo just as badly as his siblings, but his immature tendencies and affinity for abusing any power he has will likely keep him from doing so.
He certainly has a try-hard attitude, but he doesn't seem to want the major responsibilities that come along with running a huge company.
If you identify with Roman, you may need a reality check to get your actions in line with your goals.
SANDY FURNESS (LARRY PINE)
Sandy Furness is Logan’s rival and is committed to pulling the rug out from Logan’s feet.
Someone like Sandy is definitely the antagonist in any given situation.
SHIV ROY (SARAH SNOOK)
Being in a family dominated by men and the only daughter of Logan, Shiv often feels overlooked.
This has shaped her into a hard-edged worker with high ambitions for herself.
She has proven that she is a strategic and savvy businessperson through her impressive political career, but like Kendall, her downfall might be her constant need of approval from her father.
Someone like Shiv makes calculated moves to get where she wants.
STEWY HOSSEINI (ARIAN MOAYED)
Stewy is a longtime friend of Kendall who joins his side to help push Logan out of Waystar RoyCo.
They don’t find success and Stewy formulates his own plan: He joins Sandy Furness to take over the company from the outside.
If you’ve ever switched sides in an attempt to get closer to what you want, you might think Stewy is a reasonable man.
RHEA JARRELL (HOLLY HUNTER)
Rhea is Logan’s mistress-turned-trusted business protégé.
Logan announces he plans to make Rhea the next CEO of Waystar RoyCo, but after playing on his side and uncovering the truth about the inner workings of the business, she declines.
If you have ever been tempted by something, just to realize it’s not what you expected and ultimately go your own way, you can sympathize with Rhea.
TOM WAMBSGANS (MATTHEW MACFADYEN)
Tom is married to Shiv and has a pliable personality.
