I made my own dining room table using wooden floor planks which cost £10 a pack and it took just TWO hours
A WOMAN has revealed how she turned her old grey table into a stunning dining feature using wooden floor planks.
Instead of forking out for a pricey wooden dining table, she decided to make her own DIY style using self adhesive floor planks from B&Q for £10 a pack.
On the Facebook group , she explained: “You’ve all loved my last post regarding the self adhesive floor tiles from Home Bargains, I thought I’d share my DIY table top.
“Cost me £30, and around two hours of my time to complete! I did this last year, and it’s still immaculate.”
After sticking the planks of wood on her grey table, the end result looked spectacular.
Her post has racked up thousands of likes, and many people were highly impressed with her skills.
One said: “I love a DIY queen it looks amazing well done to you.”
Another added: “I want to run out and buy vinyl peel and stick planks, right now, it looks epic).”
And a third commented: “What a beautiful room, and a great idea. I would never have thought of anything like that. Well done.”
