Celebrities with the most kids revealed: from Clint Eastwood and Eddie Murphy to Nick Cannon and Angelina Jolie
MOST of us know celebrities for their movie characters, singing careers, or appearances on television.
But the truth is, many of these stars have one role that trumps all others: being a parent.
Whether they keep their children out of the public eye or bring them on red carpets, when it comes to Hollywood, many celebrities have huge families.
Mia Farrow
At the top of our list is actress and activist, Mia Farrow. She has a total of 14 children: four biological, 10 adopted.
Though she married Frank Sinatra in 1966, the two divorced in 1968 and did not have any children together.
Her first six children are with her second husband, Andre Previn. Three of them are biological, and three of them are adopted.
She adopted two more children with Woody Allen and had one biological son with him: Ronan Farrow.
This all happened before Allen went on to marry one of the daughters Farrow adopted with Andre Previn.
Farrow has since adopted five more children.
Eddie Murphy
Next up is funny-man Eddie Murphy – the proud father of 10 children.
He had his first child with Paulette McNeely in 1989 and his second child with Tamara Hood the following year.
While married to his first wife in the ‘90s and early 2000s, he had five more kids.
In 2007, he and Spice Girls singer Mel B welcomed a daughter.
And with his wife today, Paige Butcher, he has two more children.
Stevie Wonder
Best known for his exceptional talent on the piano and many hit songs, including Superstition and Isn't She Lovely, Stevie Wonder is also a father of nine.
In the 1970s, he welcomed two kids with former girlfriend Yolanda Simmons.
Then in 1983, he had three more kids with his girlfriend Melody McCulley.
While married to Kai Millard Morris, the singer became the father of two more sons.
And with his current wife, Tomeeka Robyn Brady, he has two more children.
Clint Eastwood
Eastwood, 91, has been a ladies’ man and heartthrob since he first hit the Hollywood scene, which may explain why he’s had eight children with six different women.
His youngest child is 25-year-old daughter Morgan, and his oldest is 68-year-old daughter Laurie.
Notably, Laurie — who was adopted as a child — did not know Clint Eastwood was her biological father (and he didn’t know either) until she was in her 30s when she decided to track down her birth parents.
Mick Jagger
The Rolling Stones frontman can do more than sing and dance. He's also the proud father of eight children.
His oldest child, daughter Karis, was born in 1970; and his youngest child, son Deveraux, was born in 2016.
Rod Stewart
Rod Stewart is another rock star who's got a brood of eight.
The 77-year-old has his first child, Sarah, when he was only 17-years-old with his then-girlfriend, Susannah Boffey.
Because of their young age, the couple decided to put Sarah up for adoption.
In 2007, however, after Sarah's adopted parents passed away, she connected with Stewart.
Since then, the two have developed a solid relationship.
Stewart's youngest child, his son Aiden, was born in 2011 to Stewart's wife and English model Penny Lancaster Stewart.
Alec Baldwin
Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria have welcomed six children over the course of their 10-year marriage.
Most recently, in March of 2021, the then-62-year-old welcomed his daughter Maria.
Before tying the knot with Hilaria, however, Baldwin had his first child — daughter Ireland Baldwin — with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
That makes him the proud dad of seven!
Nick Cannon
Nick Cannon is a man of many talents — he’s an actor, a rapper, a comedian, and a television host. He can also add the title “dad of seven” to that list.
His first kids, a pair of twins, were born in 2011 to his ex-wife Mariah Carrey.
In 2017 and 2020, he welcomed two more children with ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell.
Then, in June of 2021, he had three more children—with two different women.
He and his girlfriend, Abby De La Rosa, welcomed a pair of twins on June 14, 2021.
Less than 10 days later, model Alyssa Scott gave birth to her and Cannon’s son, Zen.
Tragically, the baby boy passed away at only five months old from a brain tumor.
Shaquille O'Neal
Known as a basketball legend, Shaq is also a father of six children: three sons and three daughters.
The Hall of Famer's eldest child is daughter Taahirah, who is 25-years-old. Shaq's former partner Arnetta Yardbourg gave birth to Taahirah in 1996.
He also shares four biological children with his first wife, Shaunie O'Neal; and he is the step-father of Shaunie's son, Myles, from her previous relationship.
Still, Shaq and Myles have a real father-son bond.
Madonna
The Material Girl singer is another star with a big family to look after.
She adopted her first son in 2006; her first daughter in 2009; and a pair of twins in 2017.
Her only two biological children are Lourdes Leon and Rocco, who are 23 and 20 years old.
Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie recently took two of the daughters she shares with ex Brad Pitt — Shiloh and Zahara — with her to a red-carpet premiere.
But back at home, she has four more children with Pitt.
Together, the two have 3 adopted children and 3 biological ones.
Kris Jenner
The reality TV matriarch is most famous for being a mom (and momager) to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, so it comes as no surprise that she makes this list.
She shares her first four children with her late husband Robert Kardashian, and her youngest two with Caitlyn Jenner.
Steven Spielberg
As for the famed director, he too has a brood of six.
