I’m £26k in debt because I love splashing cash on Champagne & spent £10k on my teeth – I owe more than my salary
A WOMAN revealed she’s £26,000 in debt because she loves spending her £22,000 salary on champagne, sun beds, and a very glam lifestyle.
Essex girl Shannon was featured in 2005 , and recently garnered attention after clips of the show went viral on TikTok.

In the clip that recently racked up over a million views, Shannon explains her lifestyle.
She explained: “I love drinking Champagne and feeling elegant, being out with the girls, love laughing. I love going out.”
But she doesn’t just splash out on going out, she also spends money on staying gorgeous.
“My mouth’s worth about £10,000. About £70 a month, just for the sun bed”, she said.
When it comes to shopping, she often treats herself to new clothes and shoes.
She said: “When I want something I just get it.
“If I go out and I see a pair of shoes that I really like, I might buy three pairs in the same colour.”

At the time of filming, Shannon had five credit cards, all of which were maxed out.
She had racked up the £26,000 debt in just two years, and on a salary of £22,000, she thought she would never be able to pay it off.
By the end of the documentary, however, Shannon had learned how to tackle her spending problem.
She opened up to her family about her debt and immediately felt much more able to tackle it.
She said: “It’s over now. The spending. There’s wanting something and then there’s needing something.
“Every time I go shopping, I look at things I want, but I don’t need any of them.”
