Inviting users to quiz him, he said: “I work in the bread position at Olive Garden. All I do every day is make glorious breadsticks. Ask me anything.”

Americans asked EricZona how many breadsticks he makes in a shift.

The replied: “Super rough estimate but in a five-hour shift we go through about 120 pans at 18 sticks per pan, so ballpark 2,000 a night.”

Fanatics asked why the product tasted so good.

The worker responded: “Leans in close It’s liquid margarine and garlic salt."

Curious Redditors wanted to know how long the dough is kneaded for.

They also asked if bakers brush the dough with butter before and after cooking.

EricZona claimed he could eat six breadsticks in one sitting – adding “I’m not as fanatical as some of you guys.”

Some bizarrely asked if the OIive Garden worker smells of garlic when he returns home after a shift.

He said: “I do come home smelling like garlic. I always have to wash the smell out of my beard.”

Olive Garden specializes in Italian-American cuisine and was founded back in 1982.

The website revealed how hungry diners could personalize their appetizers and entrées for the ultimate culinary experience.

CUSTOMIZING MEALS

Customers can ask for extra sauce if they want a bit of extra flavor to their pasta entrée for instance.

It's perfect for those who have finished their pasta dish but want to mop up the remaining sauce with the garlic bread that they ordered.

Diners can also ask for their dish to come with less cheese if they are not fans of the dairy product.

Customers can also kindly ask their server to see if the chef will remove or change an ingredient in their stuffed portion of ravioli.

It may be tricky as the filled pasta is usually prepared in advance before service kicks in, but chefs may be willing to provide an individual portion.

Americans shouldn’t be afraid of asking as staff will seek to keep customers happy.

Olive Garden is renowned for its zeppole – an Italian pastry that looks like a doughnut.

The dessert comes with a hot chocolate sauce on the side that diners can drizzle over, but those who are not chocoholics can ask for an alternative such as raspberry sauce.

Customers could also choose not to have any sauce with their zeppole if they wish.
