Kelin used four of the NORDLI Modular chest of 2 drawer which cost £60, and assembled them according to IKEA's instructions.

Kelin said if your window is smaller you can just use the NORDLI four chest of drawers which cost £180.

Next, Kelin used 2x4 pieces of wood to create a base for the units and attached them together.

She then drilled the back of the base to the wall to make sure her window seat was sturdy.

Kelin attaches the units to the base and then secures the units together using nails.

For the top of the window seat she used two pieces of wood that were 12 feet long and secured them together and applied white paint to match the units.

Kelin said she did not secure the top to the units, for the final details she cut out base board to put on the base of the unit.

This is to make the window seat look built in and match the rest of the walls in her room.

To seal the gap between the wall and the seat, Kelin used shoe moulding and wrapped it around back of the units.

Finally, Kelin slotted the drawers into the units and created a hidden outlet box so she can still access the power socket at the back of the unit.
