I detest my best friend’s five-year-old, he’s a rude brat and totally unbearable – I’m banning him from my house

NOT LIKING your friend's children is more common than you might think.

Lots of people put up with their friend's children's behaviour to not rock the boat, but one woman revealed that she simply couldn't take it anymore.

She said the young boy's behaviour had become too much to handle and wants to ban him from her house

Posting anonymously to the Mumsnet forum, she stated this wasn't the first time she had come there for advice on her friend's son.

The mum said the last time she posted about the five-year-old boy she was told she was not being supportive by others in the forum.

But she doubled down on her point, saying her friend could not control him.

She wrote in the caption that the boy had recently kicked a hole in her wall while having a tantrum, which has left her feeling pretty annoyed.

The mum added: "There are no special needs involved he is a brat and acts out destroying things and attacking people to get his own way.

"She says no then he goes on a 30-45 minute rampage which ends in him doing something like smashing a tv, phone screen or head butting someone on the nose causing a nose bleed."

She also claimed when her friend did give in to his tantrums he instantly snaps out of it until he is told no again and the same cycle repeats.

This time it was her wall that felt the brunt of his force and she now wants to ban him from her house.

The young boy kicked a hole in the wall which his mum 'brushed off'.

The mum confessed: "I find his behaviour unbearable and absolutely detest spending anytime with him."

She added she didn't want to fall out with her friend of twenty years over the matter but the situation was becoming more and more frustrating to deal with.

She asked users if it was unreasonable to ban him from her house considering his behaviour.

Many users said the mum was well within her rights to ban him, one user commented: "Yes I would ban him. Just don't invite them round."

"Well, he certainly wouldn't be welcome in my house." Replied another person, adding: "Why does your friend expect you to put up with this?"

A third person wrote: "Don't have them over again. If she wants to see you, offer to go to hers where he can destroy his own home and possessions and you are free to leave whenever you want."

Many users agreed she should ban him from coming over as his behaviour wasn't being addressed by his mum
