Inside Courteney Cox’s face transformation through the years after she admitted to ‘chasing youth with fillers’

COURTENEY Fox recently admitted in an interview that she knows she looked "strange" after she got facial fillers to battle aging.

But she is now embracing her age, saying: “There was a time when you go, ‘Oh, I’m changing. I’m looking older.’ And I tried to chase that [youthfulness] for years.

"And I didn’t realize that, 'oh **t, I’m actually looking really strange with injections' and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now.”

Back in 2015, the Friends actress shocked people when she looked unrecognizable.

She late admitted to having gotten facial fillers after she dissolved them back in 2017.

As Courtney approaches her big 6-0, let's take a look back at how she's changed through the years:

1985

Courtney kicked off her acting career back in 1984, but it wasn't until 1985, when she was cast as Gloria Dinallo in Misfits of Science, that she became known for her stunning blue eyes and radiant smile.

At the time, the 21-year-old rocked a short hairdo that sat right above her ears.

1996

Ten years later and Courteney, who was 31, had become a household name.

She had appeared alongside Jim Carrey in Ace Venture: Animal Pet Detective, but also in Seinfield, Scream.

But her most iconic role came when she got cast as Monica Geller in Friends.

She had originally auditioned to play the role of Rachel but was ultimately picked for Ross' little sister.

At the time, Courteney showed off a slim yet hourglass figure and rocked a black bob.

2005

Just one year after Friends ended, Courteney looked more youthful than ever.

She sported her hair long and over her shoulders.

At the time, she had been married to actor David Arquette for six years and had a two-year-old daughter with him.

She seemingly took a step back from the limelight despite her huge success and focused on being a mom and wife.

2010

Just three years before she filed for divorce from David, Courteney seemed to be back on top as she scored a role in the TV series Cougar Town.

The show went on for six years, putting Courteney at the forefront.

2015

By 2015, Courteney began to morph in front of her fans' eyes as she got facial fillers in an attempt to remain youthful.

Despite her not admitting it for some time, she recently claimed she had no idea she looked "so strange.";

Her fillers mainly accentuated her cheeks and seemed to make her eyes smaller.

2020

By this time around, Courteney had people buzzing yet again as she seemingly had gone "back to normal."

The star admitted to dissolving her fillers by 2017 as she realized that she wanted to look more natural.

2022

After appearing on the reunion episode of Friends and reprising her role in Scream, Courteney has been spotted looking fresh-faced and with longer hair these days.

The star is getting ready to celebrate her 60th birthday this 2022 and has a TV show coming out called The Shining Vale.
