I went to get a tattoo of a cat… what I came away with has been compared to Slimer from Ghostbusters
A REDDITOR got a tattoo of a cat that has been likened to the Ghostbusters character Slimer.
The social media user, known only as Glittering-Basil 3027, sparked a flurry of discussion after uploading a picture of the art to the thread S****y Tattoos.
The post was titled: “It’s a cat” but Redditors were left unconvinced.
One responded: “That’s not Slimer from Ghostbusters?”
Another quipped: “I always wondered what slimmer was when he was alive. Now we know. A Cat! (sic).”
Slimer was known for his huge appetite and left a trail of green gunk whenever he moved around.
The character was also known as "Onionhead" and he appeared in Ghostbusters I, II, and the video game.
Some social media users said the animal looks like a slug, rather than a feline.

Others linked the artwork to the character Slugcat from Rain World and Star Wars gangster Jabba the Hutt.
Redditors wildly speculated that the “catfish” would eventually develop fir and claws before pushing wine glasses off tables.
Social media users said the artwork looked “s****y and endearing at the same time.
It comes as Redditors claimed that the wolf a woman had inked onto her leg appeared to be wearing a bra.
One curious user asked: "Is it just me or does that wolf have cleavage?"
"That wolf has a strong B-cup," another posted, with a third chiming in: "Omg, that's all I can see now."
And, Taylor Gehris paid $100 for a flame tattoo but it disappeared after just a week.
The student, 20, and her pal had decided to get matching inkings of the design on their ring fingers.
But, the tattoo faded just days later and only a few very faint lines of the flame design remained.
She said: “I’m just gonna take it as a learning experience and let it fade away.”
Taylor branded the ordeal “BS” as she guessed that the tattoo gun didn’t go far enough into her skin.
