I’m a hairstylist & use a cheap kitchen product to straighten my hair with no heat – it looks flawless every time
HEAT damage can make your hair snap off, look frizzy and lifeless.
There are some tried and tested ways to get luscious curls without using heat, but if it’s a sleek straight style you’re after it can seem impossible to achieve without getting the straighteners out.
Hairstylist Maria Aiello recently shared that not all hope is lost, it’s possible to have hair that’s healthy as well as flawlessly straight.
The clever trick the hair pro uses might surprise you, it uses a common kitchen product that you probably already have at your disposal – cling film.
Luckily, most homes already have to super cheap product, so it’s easy to try anytime, since you don’t need to go out to waste money on other products.
In her video, the pro says that she wraps the ends of her hair in the cling film when it’s still wet and moulds it into the shape she wants.

The wet hair then dries into the sleek style that you want, with zero damage.
Since the hair has dried into the style, it should also last all day long, but of course a little hairspray can help with this.
The super cheap hair hack will also help tame fly-aways, since they dry flat with your hair.
Viewers of the clever trick couldn’t believe how easy it looked: “What just happened here?!”
Another said: “Going to try this in the morning!!!”
But not everyone was convinced the cheap trick would work: “My curly hair says absolutely not.”
And a seconded added: “It’s a waste of plastic in the end.”
