BUY MULTI-PURPOSE FURNITURE

When buying furniture for your home, Fuller advised purchasing multi-functional pieces.

For example, instead of getting a chef's table for your kitchen, invest in a floating kitchen island, which also comes with additional storage space.

Now you have somewhere to store more food!

For this reason, the social media star who has over 13.6K followers, said to always keep an eye out for pieces that offer more storage.

This could look like a bed frame with drawers, an ottoman that functions as a storage bin as well, and even an entrance table with shelving.

GO BIG WITH YOUR DECOR

A small home should not equate to small decorations.

In fact, Fuller advised doing just the opposite: the bigger the better.

She explained: "There's something about oversized gigantic artwork that takes up almost the entire wall that looks very professional and grown-up."

Some pieces the home expert suggested included oversized mirrors and tall artificial plants.

Incorporating huge decor will help create the appearance that the home is also big.

WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE

Fuller has spent the last 10 years residing in her 450 square feet rental, which makes her a master of working with what she has.

Along with not having much room, renters have to accept the decoration that is already in the home.

Whether it's the color of the tile or the type of flooring, Fuller advised matching the color of the floor with certain furniture pieces could help.

She noted: "I strongly disliked my black tiled kitchen floor so I decided to pull that in with black furniture accents like the shoe cabinet and side table."

Additionally, the home expert also suggested buying big neutral rugs to cover a large portion of the flooring without taking up more space.

SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA

If you're able to spend extra money to spruce things up your home, Fuller highly recommended investing in removable peel-and-stick products, like wallpaper and contact paper for counters.

Whether you're living in a rented or owned space, peel-and-stick products can help make it feel like you.
