Mind bending optical illusion shows footballers’ painful goal celebration…but it’s not what it seems

A MIND-BENDING optical illusion appears to show a rather painful goal celebration as footballers embrace on the pitch.

But the still image, featuring three Fenerbahce players, is not all as it seems.

Shared on , baffled users were initially inclined to differentiate who was hugging who with only four arms in sight.

However, many eventually concluded that one player was actually walking behind his jubilant teammates - much to dismay of others.

One said: "Oh! 2 people hugging and one person walking behind them!"

Another added: “It took a while but I finally see there is 3 people! I need a nap now.”

While a third grateful user replied: “I am so glad you explained this one for me. Lol.”

Another sporting optical illusion left Redditors baffled as they tried to figure out which way the river is flowing in the image.
