I’m a hair expert – the quick and easy trick helps make your locks grow

A HAIR expert has revealed a quick and easy way to help make your locks grow in just two simple steps.

Celebrity hairstylist Helen Reavey – who is also the founder of hair care​ wellness brand,  – shared a video on the company’s social media account. 

In the short Instagram reel, Helen tells her 73,200 followers to use a derma roller – a popular skin care device which uses small, fine needles to puncture the skin – combined with Act+Acre’s award-winning Stem Cell Serum. 

First, Helen derma rolls the front part of her scalp in a series of quick and even motions. 

Next, she applies several drops of the Stem Cell Serum directly onto the area she has just derma rolled, allowing it to soak in. 

Helen explains that this fool-proof two-step routine will “increase blood flow and help your scalp to better absorb the product,” which promises to “extend the growth phase.” 

The expert, who has worked with the likes of Alicia Keys and Harry Styles during her successful career, also adds that the hair hack works best on “a dry scalp in the evenings as an overnight treatment,” or just after the hair has been cleaned. 

Meanwhile, Helen, who founded Act+Acre with her husband, Colm Mackin, back in 2018, said exactly the same method can be used on eyebrows to promote their hair growth. 

And it seems the handy trick is already going down a storm with social media users, who have hailed the hack “brilliant.”

One impressed person said: “Helen this is a GAME CHANGER.” Another added: “This is genius.”

Meanwhile, a third commented that the oil was already working wonders on their hair.

They wrote: “Obsessed with the hair oil. You are just our hair care extraordinaire @helenreavey.” 

While others said they couldn’t wait to give it a go themselves, explaining they’d found Helen’s previous tips to be invaluable.
