I work at a steakhouse – customers are required to spend $100 EACH but it’s the dress code that annoys them most
A STEAKHOUSE has sparked a heated debate online over a policy requiring customers to spend $100 a piece at some locations.
The chain of contemporary steakhouses lists information about the $100 minimum on its website.
The steakhouse also details a “fine dining dress code policy” that people must follow if they want to dine at the restaurants.
“At Steak 48, we require resort casual attire for all of our guests,”
“Persons in ball cap style hats, excessively revealing clothing, or workout attire may not be admitted.”
The chain has locations in Houston, Charlotte, Chicago, and Philadelphia. The latter two locations also reportedly require a $100 per person food and beverage minimum.
