My best mate called her daughter a name with a nature theme – I love it but critics say the initials are ‘presumptuous’

A REDDITOR has revealed her best friend named her daughter after nature but critics have branded the moniker's initials presumptuous.

Ella Jane Grant revealed on the social media site that she’s a fan of the name Greenley Ocean Dawn.

But, Redditors instantly realized that the initials spell out God.

One commented: “First thing I noticed haha. That’s not presumptuous at all.”

While another claimed that the name borders on blasphemy.

Some Redditors were left confused as they said Greenley is a surname, not a first name.

Ella also revealed that she has heard of a baby named Merriweather Green.

Redditors branded the moniker adorable and cute.

One said: “Merriweather and Ocean are pretty decent names. I want to name my daughter Oceana tbh.”

Merryweather is one of the characters in the Disney 1959 movie Sleeping Beauty.
