Royal fans are all saying the same thing after adorable Prince Louis attended Trooping the Colour
KEEN royal fans are all saying the same thing after Prince Louis attended Trooping the Colour today.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest was wearing an adorable sailor outfit and it wasn’t long until eagle-eyed royal watchers started to notice something familiar about it.
Viewers of the parade took to Twitter, with many speculating whether the outfit was the same one worn by his father Prince William 37 years ago.
“He’s wearing the same outfit William wore at Louis age to the same event,” one royal fan tweeted.
Another agreed adding: “Prince Louis wearing Prince William’s sailor suit 🥺”
“Louis channelling William as a child in this adorable sailor suit,” added another, while a forth wrote, “Prince Louis dressed like William was.”

Joining the conversation another commented: “I actually thought Louis was William. Like father, like son.”
Prince William was seen wearing a near identical powder blue sailor outfit himself back in 1985 when he attended Trooping the colour at the age of two.
Prince George, William’s eldest, was also seen wearing a similar if not the same outfit back in 2015.
The tradition of dressing young royals in sailor suits is thought to date back to Queen Victoria’s era when she commissioned a child-size version to be made for her son Edward as a surprise for her husband Prince Albert.
