She wanted to refill her used cartridge with a cheaper cleaning liquid, but the cartridges are sealed shut.

Heather then figured out a hack that helps you open the cartridge easily at home.

First, heat up a cup of water in the microwave for one minute. Then, soak the cap of the cartridge in the cup of water for two minutes.

After the soaking, the cap should twist off easily, and then you can refill your cartridge with your favorite cleaning product.

Now that you can refill these cartridges you can pick your products depending on affordability, cleaning power, scents, etc.

This hack is also great for those of you that want to make a natural, less toxic, cleaner at home.

You can use a simple mixture of distilled white vinegar and citrus peels, according to Tiktoker, Niki Swiercinsky.

This mixture can be used as an antibacterial cleaner, stovetop degreaser, fabric softener, toilet disinfectant, glass cleaner, and more.
