I bought the Kim Kardashian Skims micro thong – it’s ‘scarring,’ I don’t believe it would stay in place
A TRADITIONAL G-string is already pretty small — but Kim Kardashian took matters even further with her Skims micro thong.
YouTuber Mia Maples tried the barely-there underwear and said the experience would have been emotionally “scarring” if not for her special precautions.
Mia did a hefty Skims haul last year and modeled over half a dozen pieces in a try-on haul video.
But she saved the most outrageous look for later on, teaming the , $34, with the $14.
When describing the bra, she said: “It’s really nice… for me who has no boobs, it feels like it could hold me.”
But the micro thong was a real eye-opener.
Mia expressed relief that she was wearing a nude bodysuit under everything.
“Let’s talk about how if I didn’t have this bodysuit on underneath, how scarring that would be,” she said.
“If you’re wearing a micro thong on, like, a daily basis, I just want to say, wow,” she added.
“If I was wearing this with pants or jeans, I would take my jeans off after a long day and I’d be like, ‘Where is my thong?’ I don’t believe that this would stay in place at all!”
Ultimately, she liked the bra but didn’t think she’d wear it “in tandem” with the minuscule micro thong.
Also in Mia’s Skims haul were the , and the in the color bone.
She said: “The fabric feels fantastic. It’s very, very soft.”
“This is not leaving a lot for the imagination, is it?” she jokingly asked.
Ultimately, she rated the bralette and briefs an eight out of 10.
Next up, she tried on the Soft Lounge Slip Dress, $68, in the color orchid.
“It has wearability for sure. I can see why it’s a best-seller,” Mia said.
She then moved on to the , $62.
As soon as Mia pulled it out of the package, she was blown away by how tiny the piece is in her hands.
Eventually, she was able to pull the bodysuit on despite the struggle it posed.
She said: “These are definitely comfortable enough that they’re not ripping off my circulation.”
The was the next item Mia modeled.
After trying it on, she said: “I like this T-shirt. I mean, it’s a nice T-shirt!”
Finally, Mia took the with the , for a spin.
“This is really, really tight,” she said after pulling on the shapewear.
“I wish the catsuit shapewear had a scoop neck,” she added.
In total, she spent about $474 on all the items she tried on in her video.
There was also an additional $200 in shipping charges to get the items to her in Canada.
People in Mia’s comment section on YouTube are grateful for her honest review.
One person wrote: “Definitely won’t be buying anything from Skims but loved the review!”
“I would never ever spend that much money on any clothing and $200 for basic shipping is crazy to me. I love your videos though,” someone else added.
Recently, another Skims shopper tried the brand’s micro bikini and said that the fabric was the same size as Trader Joe’s tortilla chips.
