EVERYBODY loves a slip and slide.

But you don’t need a fancy inflatable one, as one mum has shared a clever way to set it up in your garden – for free.

Ruth Smith posted on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to post her hack, writing: “Cheap fun idea for the kids.

“Go to a local carpet shop and ask for some polythene. It’s free!”

Then get a cheap bottle of washing up liquid, or even baby shampoo.

Put the polythene at the bottom of the slide, drench the slide and the matting with the washing up liquid and get the hose out.
