Kim Kardashian accused of ‘copying’ sister brands Good American & Kylie Swim with new Metallic Skims range
IS it true that Kim Kardashian copied two brands created by her sisters, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner?
One YouTuber posted a video trying on some of the items from Kim’s new swimwear line… and she has a lot to say about her purchases.
Fashion expert posted a video with her honest review of Skims Metallic which was created by Kim.
She says: “One of the suits I ordered is frighteningly reminiscent of the Kylie Swim catastrophe… so we’ll see.”
The swimsuit that reminds her of a Kylie Swim is the Metallic Swim Cut 0ut Monokini in gold.

The Kylie Swim version of the swimsuit comes in a sunset color scheme and when it's in stock.
Hope says: “This color is cute! The sides don’t cover me up as much as I thought they would.
“It’s pretty high cut on the side with medium coverage on the back. I actually quite like this.”

They shared a photo of the gold Monokini sold by Skims at the top of the page.
Redditors responded by noting some of the similarities with Good American by Khloe.

There's no denying that the styles and cuts of these swimsuits are all strikingly reminiscent of each other.
One person wrote: "Yeah, I have a swimsuit that's super similar to the Good American one but in black."
"Feel like it's half copy of Good American and half of Kylie Swim," another person wrote.
A third person said: "It’s fast fashion, everything is a copy of a copy and there are 100 releases a year."
"I don't get why Khloe promotes the sh-- out of Skims when she has her own competing line. Is she slow?" another person asked.
Not everyone is convinced that Kim is purposely copying brands created by her sisters though.

One person reasoned: "It’s a pretty unoriginal style of bathing suit. I wouldn’t say anyone is copying anyone except I guess whoever created the cutout one-piece style in the first place."
