I gave my twin girls unique names – one is a brand of IUD, but people say the other one is even worse
SOME parents are determined to pick out unique baby names for their children – but a few get a bit carried away.
The unique names one set of parents chose for their twin babies left people debating on which of the names was worse.
Reddit user , who does not appear to be the parent, posted a birth announcement photo of two baby girls with their faces covered by pink hearts on the platform.
The birth announcement photo showcases both baby girls in their hospital bassinets.
Each one had a sign above each baby detailing their full names, date of birth, and birth weight.
There is also a display stork between them carrying a bundle in its mouth that bears their unique names.

Twin baby girls Skyla Storm and Scotland Rain were born on June 16, 2020, right in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic, and their names have been the cause of debate on Reddit.
Skyla Storm weighed five pounds, ten ounces at birth and Scotland Rain weighed five pounds, eight ounces.
Though the birth of a new baby is almost always a topic of discussion, the comment section from the post has since exploded over the meanings behind the twins' names.
"Skyla is the brand name of an IUD," one person commented.

"Currently trying to figure out which one you think got the short end of the stick lol. Both are terrible and embarrassing names to bear and to have named your child," another stated.
"As someone who lives in Scotland, this is truly a name that would have you bullied out the country asap," another insisted.
"As a Scottish person, I feel the need to say that Scottish rain is pervasive and unpleasant, so I never pictured someone naming their child “Scotland Rain” before. Hehe," added another.
For many parents, naming their child isn't always easy, but many Reddit users were especially brutal in their commentary.
"Those sound like porn actress/stripper names. I’m so embarrassed for those girls," one claimed.
"Scotland Rain is especially awful, at least the other can just go by Skyla on the daily, but Scotland-," the original poster replied.
Some users provided support for the baby girls and expressed how the names could be much worse.
"But actually lowkey I don’t hate these," one user mentioned.
Funnily enough, the twin baby girls also have a big brother named Steele.
His name was also a big conversation starter on the platform.
"Lol my husky is named Steel," one user posted.
