Meghan Markle didn’t ‘lose’ me she dumped me, blasts dad Thomas days before Sussexes’ UK trip
MEGHAN Markle’s dad has claimed his daughter "dumped him" after meeting Prince Harry.
It comes after the Duchess of Sussex revealed Harry told her "I lost my dad" over their royal rift in a bombshell interview.
In the interview, Meghan, 41, says: “Harry said to me, ‘I lost my dad in this process.’"
It appeared to suggest it is Harry's decision to stay apart from Prince Charles and the Royal Family.
But hours after the interview was published, Omid Scobie - the Sussex's unofficial mouthpiece - claimed Meghan's quotes had been misreported.
Scobie said Meghan was actually referring to the rift with her own dad.

It is still unclear who Meghan was referring to in the clumsily written quote - but the duchess’s estranged father has now lashed out at his daughter.
Speaking to , Thomas Markle, 79, said: “She didn’t “lose” me, she dumped me.
“I am not lost. She knows where to find me. My number hasn’t changed.
“I would love to hear from my daughter and meet my son-in-law and my grandkids for the first time.”
Meghan became estranged from her dad Thomas Markle after he leaked a letter to The Mail on Sunday. The letter saw Meghan beg him to stop speaking to reporters.
In the bombshell interview last week, Meghan went on to talk about how “forgiveness is really important”.
She said: “It takes a lot more energy to not forgive. But it takes a lot of effort to forgive.”
But Mr Markle, who suffered a stroke earlier this year, says his daughter is all talk but no action.
He said: “If she really believes in forgiveness, then why can’t she forgive me?
“I have apologised to her multiple times for any hurt and pain I might have caused her.
“I love my daughter. She talks about forgiveness, so why not start with her own family? What about forgiving me?
“Every time she gives another interview it brings up all the pain and causes so much stress.
“I am still very sick. I am going to speech therapy and doing the best I can to get better, but it is all very upsetting.”
Mr Markle famously missed Meghan and Harry's wedding four years ago after claiming he had suffered a heart attack.
He and his children have since gone on to repeatedly blast Meghan in the media, with Thomas most recently setting up a YouTube channel where he has discussed his daughter.
Mr Markle's comments come as Harry and Meghan get ready for a UK trip.
The Sussexes are set for a jam-packed five days of engagements from Monday when they’ll be staying on the Queen‘s Windsor estate.
