William and Kate half a mile from Harry and Meghan but have ‘no plans to meet until bombshell memoir is released’
PRINCES William and Harry were staying half a mile apart yesterday — but failed to meet up in a sign of their rock-bottom relationship.
Harry and Meghan are at Frogmore Cottage near William and Kate in Windsor during a brief UK visit.
Senior royals are keen to avoid Prince Harry and Meghan until his bombshell memoir is released, The Sun understands.
The book is due out later this year, along with the pair’s fly-on-the-wall documentary.
But it is understood that Prince William, 40, feels he cannot trust his younger brother not to repeat their conversations.
He and wife Kate, 40, Prince Charles and the Queen are thought to have no immediate plans to see Harry and Meghan, who are visiting the UK from their California home.

It was understood the Sussexes arrived at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor on Saturday ahead of a whistle-stop charity tour.
It is half a mile from William and Kate’s new four-bed home Adelaide Cottage — where the couple and children George, nine, Charlotte, seven, and four-year-old Louis spent their first weekend.
But the two couples failed to see each other.
William is thought to be adamant that he will keep his distance from his near neighbours.

'Vastly exaggerating'
Royal biographer Angela Levin said: “I think it's likely that Catherine and William will try to avoid any contact with Harry and Meghan until they know the contents of Harry’s memoirs and their Netflix documentary.
"They have lost their chance of being trusted as the chance is they will use any conversation.
“It’s their own fault for vastly exaggerating and being rude.”
Meanwhile the Queen, 96, is 500 miles away in Balmoral with no plans to return to Windsor before the Sussexes leave.
And Prince Charles, 72, who yesterday went to a church service near Balmoral, will also fail to see the couple due to his work commitments.
The Sussexes have launched a series of barbs at the Royal Family since Megxit in March 2020.
Comments made by Meghan in her much-derided interview with US magazine The Cut last week have furthered angered royals.

Harry’s book is set to slam the Royal Family after he spent time researching the life and death of his mother Princess Diana. It is due out in late November.

Harry and Meghan are today due in Manchester where the duchess will give her first address in the UK since March 2020.

Meg Insta still ‘Royal’
HARRY and Meghan are still using the name “Sussex Royal” on social media two years after agreeing to drop it.
The Sussex Royal Instagram account is active with 9.5 million followers even though the couple had agreed to not use the term “Royal”. Meghan last week revealed she plans to return to Instagram.
