But one hack stood out from the rest, especially as it costs just pennies and many may already have the secret in their kitchen cupboards - tin foil.
Tin foil costs just 68p in Asda and is similarly cheap in other supermarkets and shops.
Interestingly, it is an effective household product for getting rid of rust on stainless steel surfaces.
One person wrote: "Tomato sauce with scrunched up tin foil rubbed hard works a treat."
