The baby name gurus at have collated the most popular name choices for babies according to their birth month, and we're running through them, along with the reasons they're so popular in that particular month.
JANUARY
Some months of the year can be used as they are for a baby name - and January is one of them. The abbreviated Jana is another option.
It's also the start of the year, so names that refer to newness are popular.

Neo, Nova and Kai all mean "new", while Prima means "first".
Capricorn and Aquarius are the star signs for January - with the first applicable up until January 19, and the second from January 20 until February 18.

You could use Valentine for a boy or a girl, while Romeo refers to one of literature's greatest romantic heroes.
