I’m a mum-of-10 and two of my kids were named after cars – I couldn’t stand what they were called so changed them
WHEN mum-of-10 Elizabeth first tied the knot with her husband, Ed, they only wanted three kids.
But after giving birth seven times the couple still felt their family was incomplete and decided to foster three kids.
Speaking to , the mum explained that because of complications during her last pregnancy, fostering was the best option for the family.
The mum knew she wanted to adopt Lincoln and Bentley as soon as she first met them, the only issue was that they couple didn't love their names.
Elizabeth said: "The boys were named after cars and we felt that it was very dehumanising to be named after objects to be used."
The mum decided to change the boys' names after she adopted them over a year later.

She explained: “Kolbe (formerly Bentley) is named after St Maximillian Kolbe.
"I did not realise, but he is the patron saint of drug addicts so it seems very fitting as their biological family struggles with drug addiction.
“Justin (formerly Lincoln) means upright and righteous and what we would hope for him to be when he grows into a man.”
The mum knew it would be a big change for the boys, who were three and two at the time.

Despite the boys' biological mum being upset about the name change, she came around to the idea after Elizabeth explained the meanings behind their new names.
"After hearing why we made the change she understands and loves the names that we chose for them," she said.
Elizabeth and Ed later adopted the boys' biological sister and also changed her name, from Charlee to Charlotte.
The mum added: “I hope that the children we have in common will be proud of us all and how we tried to work things out as best as we could for their benefit.
";It hasn’t always been easy - but the effort is always worth it.”
