I ordered from Kim Kardashian’s Skims for the first time – there were many issues with her ‘glorified leotard’

A WOMAN finally gave into the temptation to buy Skims, but she was met with an avalanche list of issues.

Katie Beth Miedaner skeptically purchased a Skims bodysuit, and the cons outweighed any pros.

Katie was hesitant yet excited to try on her first Skims order

“I’ve been hesitant to try the brand because celebrity lines seem over-saturated and over-hyped,” she wrote in her caption.

“NONETHELESS I took the plunge and ordered a few pieces,” she added.

In the video, she mimicked the viral “I win, I win” audio, showing some hint at a positive review and outcome.

Holding up a Skims package, Katie wrote: “Your first order from Skims arrives and you think it’ll be life changing…”

After she pulled out a pale green short-sleeve bodysuit, she smiled and twirled with it deceptively.

When she tried it on, the audio came crashing to a halt and text read: “…Realizing you spent $72 on a glorified leotard without a hem.”

Katie ordered the in the color Agave for $72.

She revealed that while she is 5’8” and 140 pounds – and typically wears sizes 4 or 6 – she actually ordered a L/XL in the bodysuit.

“You MUST size up one or two sizes,” she wrote in her caption, adding: “The L/XL body suit fit my torso but the sleeves around my arms were cutting off my circulation.”

Someone commented: “The first thing I noticed was the shoulders and arms looked too small. I figured you got a small … But you got a L/XL?! WTF!!! That’s all kinds of wrong!”

However, Katie did acknowledge that the bodysuit did “snatch” her waist.

She also admitted that she didn’t realize that the product had a “raw cut crewline neck” before purchasing it. But she was confused as to why other Skims bodysuits with hems were actually cheaper.

Katie found that the fit was way off and the quality was lackluster

Katie shared that she would be returning the piece before finding yet another problem with the pricey product.

“Returns are pretty straightforward, but be prepared to pay $6 to return your order lol,” she wrote, amused by the additional cost.

“People need to know if something is worth their hard-earned money, not get distracted by the name behind the label,” someone commented. “Celebrity does not equal quality.”

Another added: “Thank you for a real and a honest review of this brand! I’ve always wanted to know pros and cons and you summed it up perfectly.”

People also recommended looking at Zara or Express instead for basic bodysuits.
