I’m a make-up pro – the three simple hacks I’ve spotted on Kate Middleton and how it shaves 10 years off her face
THE PRINCESS of Wales arrived for a visit to Colham Manor Children's Centre in Hillingdon - and she looked as flawless as ever, with a radiant skin and youthful complexion.
Kate Middleton is known for her immaculate taste in fashion - but just like her outfits, the mum-of-three also takes great care of her make-up and skincare to shave years off her face.
And according to an expert, the 40-year-old follows three easy hacks in her routine, which maintain the stunning looks.
, MUA Saffron Hughes described Kate's make-up as ''classic and timeless'' and rather than following the latest trends, she sticks to three basic rules that compliment her oval face shape and skin texture.
Kate's cream products
One of the key contributors to Kate's youthful looks, she pro noted, is her dewy, glowing skin.
"Heavy powder can settle into fine lines on the face and exaggerate the appearance of wrinkles, so Kate opts for sheer, glowing foundation or tinted moisturiser as an alternative.''
The same rule also applies to other face products, such as Kate's iconic soft pink blush on her cheeks - which the MUA suspected is a cream-based formula too.
According to the beauty guru, cream alternatives to powders give skin that ''glowing-from-within'' look, whilst also highlighting all the high points of your face.
This little trick, she explained, gives the illusion of higher cheekbones - almost like an easy DIY facelift.
''By saying bye to the matte foundation and powders, Kate has shed at least 10 years."

Kate's thicker brows shave years off her appearance
Carefully examining Kate's face, Saffron noted that her brows have been plucked to frame and suit her face.
According to the make-up pro, the thicker brows follow their natural arch and a very uniform in their appearance - which makes her reckon that they've been either laminated or set with a gel.

Clever eyeshadow placement
"Once upon a time, Kate opted for thick eyeliner on top and bottom lids. Unfortunately, as we age, this can give us the illusion of smaller eyes,'' said Saffron.
Instead, to open her eyes, the Royal chooses soft brown eyeshadow on the outer third of her lower lash line, giving her eyes more definition.

The look is then completed with an eyeliner on the outer third of the lash line, which makes for a more wide-awake appearance.
"Her top lids are often adorned with a natural brown and accompanied with a thicker, more pronounced black gel eyeliner."
