This is what one YouTuber, Liyana (), found when asking her subscribers how they felt about the festive season approaching - more than a whopping 80 per cent described themselves as concerned about having to purchase gifts and decorations.

Saddened by the discovery, she decided to offer a helping hand by creating a luxurious-looking hamper by bargains from Poundland.

The best part? Each of these will cost you just a tenner - or even less.

Whilst strolling around her local retailer, Liyana demonstrated in , she stumbled across a good base for the hamper.

Despite being just £3, she reckoned the neutral colour basket looked ''quite expensive'' and was better than the ones in bright red and green hues.

Each of these, she added, also comes with a stunning ribbon, shreds and cellophane, so there's no need to go and spend more buying them individually.

Then, armed with a luxe foundation for the DIY project, Liyana set off to fill the woven basket with goodies she had found on , the cheapest UK discount store.

''They sell items from 5p, so this is really going to help push your costs down,'' she noted.

But despite being left with only £7 to work with, the savvy shopper had managed to find heaps of products, which included a sheet mask (14p), a cute mug (£1) and cleansing sheets (90p).

Other items included rose sachets (23p), a lip mask (14p), eyebrow brushes (66p), a small bottle of fragrance oil (90p), pink clip-on nails (£2.25), an adorable pink teddy bear (£1.85), a dusty pink hair clip (69p) and a lip balm (90p).

''So there you go - a really big hamper.''

Putting the bargain goodies together, Liyana added that the secret to making it look high-end is purchasing items of similar colour scheme.

She also ensured to take time when placing them in the hamper - this will avoid any awkward gaps and make the basket appear more full.

After creating the first gift - the total of which came up to £9.70 - Liyana shared what she got for the second one - one that's perfect for kids.

In this, she put a cute pink mini bag with loads of glitter and gold detailing, an adorable cat ear headband, a hairclip with white pearls, yet another small teddy bear, pink eyeshadow glitter and a heart clip for a fancy hairdo.

The Zadeel fan completed the hamper with a small stationery notepad, nail stickers in various designs, heaps of hairbands that came in different colours, a big plastic bear filled with bright pens, as well as a mermaid style purse in iridescent white.

''That's really stuffed - I'm so happy with that,'' she exclaimed.

''I think any girls is going to love receiving this.''

Once you're done, just wrap the cellophane and add the ribbon creating the ultimate Poundland hamper.
