How Queen reacted to seeing photos of herself walking next to President Trump revealed
THE Queen’s reaction to seeing photos of herself walking next to President Trump has been revealed.
Prince Philip’s friend Gyles Brandreth has claimed Her Majesty was amused by the former-American leader – despite him making a major faux pas as they strolled together.
Trump was on a state visit in June 2018 when he accidentally broke royal protocol as he visited Windsor Castle.
He strode ahead of her and inspected the Guard of Honour – forcing the Queen to walk around him.
Royal protocol means people are to curtsy and bow to the King or Queen, always stand when they enter the room – and never turn your back or walk in front of them.
But the upcoming biography called Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait has revealed that the Queen did not take the mistake to heart.
In an excerpt published in it says: “Far from being offended, she was amused.
“And that night, when the Queen saw herself on television, bobbing about behind him, she laughed out loud.”
Trump was a big fan of the late-monarch and revealed they had “great chemistry” together when paying tribute to her after her death.
It comes after it was revealed the Queen secretly fought painful cancer in the final year of her life.
Her late Majesty is said to have had a form of bone marrow cancer, which symptoms include bone pain, before her death on September 8.

Her death certificate, released in September, officially recorded her cause of death as “old age”.
But Mr Brandreth wrote: “I had heard that the Queen had a form of myeloma — bone marrow cancer — which would explain her tiredness and weight loss and those ‘mobility issues’ we were often told about during the last year or so of her life.
