A HOME EXPERT has revealed how to banish rust off radiators - and it's so easy to do.
Rusted radiators can often be an issue, especially in the bathroom as there's so much moisture in the air.
Fortunately, there's an easy solution to get rid of rust - and you probably already have it in your kitchen cupboard.
Home and heating experts at have revealed their top tips to get rid of it for good.
Speaking to the , the experts revealed that you should always make sure to turn your radiator offer before you tackle cleaning it.
Next, they recommended dipping a microfibre cloth into some soapy water to remove any dust or grime from the radiator.
Once you've cleaned it with soap to get rid of any bacteria the experts suggested wiping it down with clean water to remove any soap marks.
Now, you are ready to tackle any rust on the radiator.
The experts said the best method is to fill a bowl with equal parts white vinegar and water and apply pressure while wiping down the radiator with a microfibre cloth.
They recommended using a toothbrush to scrub any hard-to-reach spots.

The experts added: "Vinegar has the perfect amount of acidic properties to remove rust without damaging the radiator.
"It is also a cheaper alternative to most cleaning products and can be used to clean glass, countertops, bathrooms, and other household items.”
For those still having trouble, they recommended using tinfoil and dipping it into cola.
The carbonic acid in the fizzy drink is also known for removing stubborn rust from chrome.
Finally, once the rust has been removed it's time to rinse the radiator clean with a sponge and water before buffing it dry.
